In October 2025 we moved into a our first commercial workshop and are very excited to see what will come next.
So far the culture around meeting and seeing clients is more personal and in-depth than ever before. We can place guitars on the bench and talk through to issues and the process that follows to carry out the repair and adjustments. Clients have also enjoyed being able to behind the curtain and to be enjoy the experience. To see instruments currently under repair, the Luthier tools used to make a instrument on display and the timber stock is always fun to look through. The workshop has allowed us to be far more efficient and quicker at working through the job list while maintaining a the same high standards of work.
Workshop classes
The most exciting aspect of the new workshop space is we will be running workshop classes to the public. We are looking forward to welcoming people in to the workshop over period days to teach and create a community of keen instrument enthusiasts. We will start working on kit assembly covering Electronics , Fret levelling ,Nut work and full set up. We will add a option unique option to the course to give students the opportunity to wind your own pickups for your build. We are looking forward to seeing the smile on students faces when they finish their instrument and plug it in for the first time . We will continue working towards the future and continue improving the workshop and what we can offer. The next plan is to start on increasing the capacity to process our stock of tone wood quicker and more efficiently. Keep a eye on the socials and hopefully we will you sometime in the workshop.
