Although fixing guitars and basses is the most popular part of my repairs business, I also have thorough experience in servicing a wide variety of instruments. To mention a few other instruments, I have worked on banjos, violins, violas, ouds, mandolins, mandolas, ukuleles, bouzukis and more.

I also repair and service guitar and bass amplifiers.

Electric Guitar and Bass - £110

Acoustic Guitar -£120

*Cost of strings not included*

Fret Dress with Compound Radius - £125

Adding a compound radius to the neck (flatter fingerboard at the upper region), allows you to achieve the lowest action your instrument is capable of. This is the kind of thing that is seen on many modern high-end guitars. The compound radius is one of the main reasons these high-end guitars feel so comfortable to play.

*Cost of strings not included*

Re-Fret Stainless Steel - £260

There are several reasons as to why your guitar may need a re-fret, some of which include natural wear and tear, to improve playability, increase sustain or take care of humps and bumps in the neck.
A warped neck can often be fixed during a re-fret, this is because the fingerboard is levelled out and a compound radius can be introduced (if required), eliminating the issue. Many players find that a new lease of life can be found in a tired old guitar after a re-fret…the guitar may still sound fantastic, but is tough to play due to low and tired old frets, a re-fret can make your guitar feel just like new!

We order fret wire for the job and do not always keep stock.
